This was the first ultrasound of our baby girl. This is the only good picture she's given us the entire pregnancy. Others just show her hand covering her face. It's crazy to think that I'm going to be a Mommy of not just one but two kids now. One boy & one girl.... this will be the last baby though.
It's kind of sad to think that this will be my last pregnancy, because I'm having my tubes tied. The last time I'll experience morning sickness, the last time I'll feel the brutal kick on my bladder that almost makes me wet my pants. The last time I'll feel her hiccups, annoying hiccups. lol
I've been blessed w/such a good little boy, he's the reason I wanted another baby. He has his moments, but he's the light of my day, the reason I get out of bed every morning (aside from having to pee lol). I'm kind of scared that she wont be as well behaved as he is. This pregnancy has been a brutal one, I've been sick every single day. I was ready for her to come out & join us before my 2nd trimester was over with! lol
I kind of feel like I did when I was pregnant w/my son; I'm so ready for the next part of our journey to start; but I'm so scared at the same time. Am I really going to be able to handle it all? How am I going to manage giving my love to not just one child anymore but two?! And giving it equally out, and to where child number one doesn't feel like his attention is being taken from him? I don't want him to feel like I love him any less, and he's so young, will he understand?
I plan on including him in activities, such as feeding & little things like that.

It's nice to know that there's someone else out there that's got the same "issues" as I do. For years my Mother always said--go to a group...there ARE others out there like you. But, looking around...I didn't see the same thing. It was never easy talking about my feelings. I think maybe it's easier now because I'm much older. I think it's even easier typing it. My voice still cracks when I speak about it... I still tear up & get shaky. It was ages ago...and it still cuts me deep like it was yesterday. I think I'm more open to it now then I ever was. I don't know what's changed.
I was telling my friend...that I think when someone comes into your life like that...and blasts a hole in your life like that...you never truly heal. Maybe it just gets easier to deal with & think about. But, you never truly heal. I know I block people out of my life ..and I know the reasons I do. I know I push people away that have always been here for me. It's hard for me to admit but I do it. That's all I have to say for now. I've been thinking about this person for a while lately. That's it.

So as many of you already know...I'm pregnant again! We were trying & trying & trying ...and no luck. I for a spit second thought that I couldn't have anymore...that God was punishing me. And I didn't understand why....I know I'm not perfect, I know I've screwed up a lot in my life...and I know I will screw up a lot more in my life...but the love that I have to offer my son; I just wanted to share that with another child. I was pretty beat up, I was taking all the extra measures to get pregnant. And still nothing. I was pretty upset with God...asking him what did I do to not deserve another baby....why do YOU give people who YOU know will only beat up & abuse their children...MORE CHILDREN...but someone like me...who will show nothing but love & devotion, YOU wont give me another baby?! Then, I talked to my Mom, who is always so wise, and she told me God didn't hate me....I would get pregnant again...but my baby's soul was being made & I had to wait for MY baby to reach out to me. Then, a few weeks later she asks me out of the blue "are you pregnant" And I said "NO" ....just to be sure I took a pregnancy test. One test said positive...sort of...and the next said negative. Then, a couple days later I took another one & it also said negative. About 2weeks after that, I missed my monthly thing ...and decided to take another test...a low & behold ....there it was...two lines....You are PREGNANT! I was giddy ...like a school girl who had her 1st crush ever... of course I'm much older! lol I couldn't believe it....so I took 3more tests....and it was right there...YOU ARE PREGNANT! So, I'm 8weeks & 6days along....this has by far been worse then my last pregnancy! I wasn't even THIS sick w/monkey until I was almost 11wks pregnant! And the "morning" sickness started at 5weeks this time around! My hormones are raging, I'm craving all sorts of foods...nothing too crazy yet! lol Thank goodness! lol
But, something also changed....back when I had Monkey...I was for sure that I did NOT want a girl.  Maybe it was because of what I went threw growing up....I'm not sure...but I did NOT want one. But, I find myself looking at girl stuff....little bows & berets & foo fooy dresses...pink this, pink that....I'm at the point where I'm WISHING for a girl! And I'm not sure what it is that changed...if it's somehow closure....or what. I know I'll be VERY protective over her...I know a lot more then what I am with Monkey....just because of what I went threw. And I can't help that. But, I'm very excited ...I'm over being nauseated & throwing up every time I get in the car...or get up to go to the bathroom....but I'm ready! If this is the "price" I have to pay...then I'm more than happy to do it! I just can't wait until Dday! That's when we are going to find out the sex of our baby! I want it to be a surprise! :D

I know this feeling. I've had it before You were the only one "special" enough to make me feel this way.
My stomach hurts, I feel like I'm holding my breath. I'm uneasy... waiting for something to happen. I'm seeing things...not like hallucinating...memories. I'm on my best behavior ... but understand I'm still not scared of you. You might be able to upset my body....but I am much stronger then you ever gave me credit for.
You don't scare me.... they are watching over & protecting us. And you know who 'they' are.
Just like when you came to visit me in my dreams. Even when you stopped my breathing & held me down; I fought you ... I pushed you away... you put all your might into holding me down....just then your head is next to my mouth & I whispered: I'm NOT SCARED OF YOU. Go AWAY! I knew who you were....even with your hood covering your face. I knew who you were!

Photo Friday 2.11.11... I know it's really 2.12.11 but oh well! deal! lol

This is my sons' binky, while he was playing I decided to grab my camera & snap a few pictures of him & just goofing off I took a few of his binky as well. I just wish I could figure out what that black mass is to the right of it. Whatever it is, is blocking out the light. Hopefully, it's just one of God's angels watching over my Monkey.
Photo Friday::
I got this idea from a fellow blogger & thought what a great idea it was!!!

5 question friday! oh yeah!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky to appear Friday morning! And make sure you have fun!

Questions for Friday, February 11th: (Special thanks to Sandy, Rachel, Pam, Rene, and Colleen for their question suggestions! If you would like to be linked in a future 5QF, c'mon over to my community and offer up your best question suggestions! Feel free to shout 'em out on Twitter, too, if you'd like! Hashtag, #5QF, and @5crookedhalos me! [i.e What's your favorite color? #5QF @5crookedhalos])

1. Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver or TLC's What not to Wear?
Well, I don't really need the EHM but I would love to help out on that sort of thing! I would LOVE to go onto TLC's What NOT to Wear! lol...and that is because I DO need a whole new wardrobe! I need to relearn what to wear & what to NOT wear!

2. Do you have any tattoos?
No. I've always thought of getting a tattoo here & there; but I've never been brave enough to actually go threw with it. And I'm not too sure if I ever will to be honest with you.

3. Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?
Well, my son will be 1yrs old on Monday (Valentine's Day), so at this point in time I do ramble off about weird things to him & he babbles back or just laughs at me. But, I think when the time does come, I hope that I'm as honest as I can be with my children. I think that the more honest & open you are with your children the more they're willing to be open & honest with you. If you pretend that you're a 'goody two-shoes' then they're going to be afraid to confide in you. I just hope when the day comes, I can be honest & open with my son. There's a few things that should be left alone until they are old enough to understand.

4. If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you stop or speed up?
Well, it depends on the weather, traffic & my mood. Lately, I've stopped. I guess the whole having your baby in the backseat has got me being more careful. I'm not a ranting lunatic on the road anymore. Well, not nearly as much as I used to be! lol The only time I have mega outbursts is when you put my sons' life in danger, then I'm a ranting lunatic! lol
And plus, with all those red light camera's being put everywhere, I'd rather not take any chances. Not worth the ticket!

5. What's your preference: chocolate or chips?
Hmm ... when I read this at first I read: chocolate chips...then of course I had to re-read the entire question over again. LOL
Again, depends on my mood, if I'm in a salty mood then chips (which we rarely have chips to begin with!) if I'm in a sweet mood then chocolate. But yes, I do love chocolate chips too!!! ;o)

1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?

We met in youth group at the school I went to. And no, I didn't believe in love back then. When I finally realized I was in love with him, which was about a year down the road, I had dreamed about the future with him. But, DEFINITELY not instantly! lol

2. What is your favorite room in your house?

Well, the room that I spend 99.99% of my time, is my living room. So, I'd have to say that the living room is my most favorite. This is where my son plays, and we interact most of the time as a family. We also go into our master bedroom & shut the door & turn the t.v. on & lay on the bed watching t.v. And sometimes my monkey will play in the room, which is why we shut the door lol, or he'll lay with us in bed... or climb all over us! lol

3. Can you wiggle your ears?

Haha!!! Yes! I remember back when my biological Father taught me how to do that. lol
In fact, I remember that whole lesson he gave me, it was so hard to do back then...but you could see he was so excited to teach me how to do it... one of the very few funny, fun times I had w/him.

4. What is your evening ritual?

Well, that depends on if I go to work or not. If I don't go to work then it's pretty simple. I just usually do what I had been doing a couple hours prior & play with monkey, teach him all the great things life has to offer & then when he grows tired put him down to sleep. Well, that might change now, since I've been doing a different routine since work has started back up. When we are working, which has been a lot lately; we get home & I take a shower & then I give monkey a wash too & then afterwards we eat dinner. Then, we play some, & then I eventually get tired. In the mix of playing, we'll just call him Daddy for now, lmao, Daddy has been making dinner & after we eat dinner he usually watches some t.v. before going in the bedroom. Around 10pm-ish, monkey will want some milk & I'll give it to him. And then, we've been rockin in my Grandma's old recliner, it rocks back & forth when it's not reclined. So, after that, Monkey snuggles right up to me & 20mins of rocking back & forth...he's out. Then, I get 'me' time & no matter how tired I am...I always seem to become wide awake by 11pm.... and I watch my shows & do my thing online at the same time...until I fall asleep...whenever that may be sometimes. lol
Lately, I've been falling asleep w/the lap top in my lap & waking up when it burns me! lol

5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?

Most don't believe me when I tell them, but I've been able to only sleep 2-3hrs & function doing manual labor the whole next day & I'm talking 14hrs of straight labor!
Now, on the other hand,,, I can sleep however long one will let me...when the sun comes up, til the sun goes down. It's nighttime that I have the problem sleeping.

5QF, the last one of 2010!!!!

1. How long does your Christmas tree stay up?
***Well, since we didn't get ours until pretty late, I'd have to say it'll stay up pretty late...that is until it's pretty dead. LOL, I love my Christmas trees, so I never really pull any of it down until it's dead. lol

2. Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?
***My original plans were to go out with some friends, I just wasn't for sure which group of friends I wanted to go out with. But, after having a long talk with my husband & my son being sick & only wanting me; I decided it was best to just stay in. My hubby promised he'd stay up with me, and I'd go buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate the new year. That way I can give my monkey a kiss too! ;o)

3. Do you have any New Year's resolutions?
***I tried to come up with some resolutions; but since I don't smoke anymore... I don't really have anything but to continue to grow. Grow stronger, grow as a wife, a Mother, a daughter, a friend, a sister, a grand daughter, to grow closer to God again. But, I think that's all I can really come up with.

4. How did you spend New Year's Eve when you were younger?
***Well, I can only remember when I started celebrating, and that was when I was in 8th grade. But, I usually spent it with family & friends. Most of my family & friends are in a different county or state, so it's hard to want to go for the long drive just for a few drinks & watch the ball drop.

5. What was the best way you've ever spent New Year's Eve?
***I think it was a few years ago at a house party, I was with my husband & some friends that were easy to be around, especially when they were drunk, and it was just fun, easy, silly, fun.

Are you thankful?

I never thought I would be so hands on; and wanting to do so many cute little crafts. I've never been more excited about spending a holiday then I am NOW!!! From my point, I can't understand why someone wouldn't want to spend it w/their children & close family. Why you would just blow the people you love off, unless you just don't celebrate, period.
I'm totally giddy it's ridiculous! I've gotten everything that I've asked for this Christmas & then some! And I'm not just talking about the fancy property that I have. It's not about the rings, the phone, the purses, or the name brands; I'm talking about my family
I've wanted to quit a few times over these last several months. Having to live life in this hectic world is crazy & hard enough w/o bringing a baby into it. I've put every single need of his before my own, as I believe every Mother should. James & myself haven't argued in about a year & a half. We bicker, some people think we're serious, but we're totally not. And after Aj was born, things just were strained for awhile. I was constantly tired, and then working on top of my 24/7 job with Aj didn't help. James didn't quite understand what my job entailed, until he was stuck watching Aj overnight w/o me. James said he wasn't sure if he wanted children. In his exact words he has said "Everybody that I know makes parenthood seem like hell, they are more then willing to drop their child off with who ever will watch it; they are always itching to go out & party. And that's how it's always been. So I wasn't fond of the idea of becoming a Dad because they always said it was nothing but a burden."
Which is sad to be honest, because everybody in my family (for the most part) loves their children to the ends of the earth (since this world is ROUND, we know what that means). Nobody in my family has ever said having children is nothing but a burden; they said it would be hard & that it is hard.
So, that's why we were strained; I enjoyed every minute of it & James on the other hand was weary about the whole situation.
Things have gotten much better. We both know that we have been to hell & back; we can push threw anything together! And we did!
Things are still pretty rough sometimes, but I think we both are optimistic that we can be successful in this marriage. We finally went on a date (w/o Monkey) and that was glorious! We have vowed each day to not argue; if we start to, we just walk away until we're calm. lmao but now I've got a punching bag; so I just go beat up on that a few minutes & I'm good to go! lmao!
I have everything to be thankful for this Christmas. For one, I have God, whom without in my life, our lives would NOT be here & we would not be able to make this relationship work. 2nd I have the best gift any woman/mother could ever ask for & that's my Monkey. My pride, my joy, my life. I've never known you could love someone so much in such a way. 3rd I have my husband, who sometimes I'd like to strangle, I know no matter what thick & thin, sickness & health, richer or poorer, til death do us a part, will always love me & be there, here, for me. 4th I have woman's best friend & that's my 3bratty as heck dogs; who will always love me & I will love them no matter how much they don't want to listen! 5th I have my Mom, my Dad, my Sister, who I also know will always be there for me no matter what as they have always been. And lastly my family in CA, even though they are so far away I know no matter what if I truly need them, I can always count on them.
So yes, I've already gotten my Christmas presents early from James & Monkey, I got some perfume & lotion & a phone & a upgraded ring set, and this wonderful house to live in....but my true gifts & blessings are my family & God.

I'm looking forward to having James' family here in my home for Christmas, and hopefully my friend & his wife will also make it up.
If no one else came for Christmas I would be A-Okay with it; because I know that I'm already blessed.

5QF

1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
In the past years living under my parents' roof, we've done something called Chinese gift exchange & that's been our gift that we open on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas morning after we've had breakfast, we've all sat down & opened presents as a family.
I think I would like to continue to do something like that & carry that throughout the years as our children grow older. It's nice to grow up having certain traditions you follow as a family.

2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?
I don't think it's really candy as much as it is the fudge. That's about the one thing that I look forward to during Christmastime is the fudge. I think the reason it tastes so yummy, is because it's usually the only time I have it! lol

3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?
I'm sure if I thought long & hard about it, I could think of a bad gift... or a bad time during a joyful holiday like Christmas... but thanks to my Mom...all I have are good memories about Christmas. Because of my Mom, when I think of Christmas I think of family & love. I didn't grow up around lots of money where there was always a ton of money; so I never expected much or anything at all & I still don't to this day. I think as long as you have family & the love of God...there's no such thing as a bad gift on such a joyous holiday.

4. Christmas song that you love?
I will have to search on YouTube for that answer. I'm not sure of the name of the song...and I can't think of any of the words...but ever since I can remember when I hear that song, I think of Christmas.

5. How many trees do you put up?
One.
I remember several years back my Dad got me a mini Christmas tree to put up in my window. I thought it was the coolest thing EVER that they had a 'me size' Christmas tree. I will NEVER forget that year! So, when Aj gets older, I'd love to be able to get him his own Christmas tree for his room! Make him feel as special as my Dad made me feel that year! <3

5QF...last week .. late I know! haha

1. What is your favorite part of a Thanksgiving meal?
Everything, but mostly the yummy turkey.

2. Are you a host or a guest for Thanksgiving this year?
Guest, although I liked hosting last year.

3. When you think of one Thanksgiving tradition, what comes to mind?
I'm not too sure...these several past Thanksgivings have been not that great. So...eh... whatever.

4. You have two pieces of pie in front of you and you HAVE to eat one...do you choose pumpkin or pecan?
Well, since the pumpkin was a bomb...I think I would've gone with the pecan.

5. Are you a Black Friday Shopper?
No, I wanted to go shopping this year...just didn't have the funds to do so.

Friday, November 12, 2010

5QF--- I missed last week! eek! lol

1. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
 * I'd have to say labor is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to me! lol Nothing quite compares to being in labor!

2. How much sleep do you get at night?

* Depends on how much sleep my lil man gets! lol I usually, on good nights, get about 7hrs of sleep. (not all the way threw though)

3. How long did you believe in Santa Claus? How did you find out that he does not exist?
* Wait, what? Santa Claus isn't real?!!!!!!!!!!!

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?

 * Uhm I think it was Law Abiding Citizen.

5. What do you wear to bed?
* I usually wear Grannie panties & my nursing shirt. It's the most comfortable & less constricting & I get hot really easily at night, so it's the coolest. If it's cold out, I have a pair of pants I wear when I get out of bed. ;)

5QF

1. If you could be a fly on any wall, which would you choose?
**I don't know, that's kind of a hard question. Some things are just left not knowing. I don't know, maybe someone famous! LOL

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?
**In the past, I haven't budgeted at all. This year may be the first year that I try & budget the best I can; especially since this is the first year since I've become a Mommy!

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?
**Unfortunately, I've tried just about all of them! But, I've learned my lesson that anything you tend to lose on any special diets will just come back & you will usually gain more then you lost in the first place. All you need to do is excersize & watch your portions & eat as healthy as you can. But, depriving yourself of the foods you love is a big No, no. Just have to know when it's okay to eat them & how much & when to stop! LOL

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?
**I've watched every episode of House, The Hills, The Desperate Housewives, and I think that's just about it.

5. What one song always pulls at your heart?
**If I could think of the name right now, I'd so post it. When I find it on You Tube, I'll answer this question later.

5QF

1. Who is the better cook, you or your spouse?
- He would say that I am; and I would say that he is. Look, the truth is, when I put forth the effort I'm the better cook. BUT-- I'm lazy & prefer him to cook! LOL
2. How often do you talk to your mom?
-Not as often as I should; it's become especially harder to talk to her when I have a son to take care of. I know plenty of other Mothers have no issues with this, but I do. My Mom lives all the way in New York & I live all the way here in Florida. If I seen her every day that would be a different story; but seeing as we are miles away; I can only have phone conversations with her which is extremely hard to do when you have an infant crawling all over you & yearns for you every second attention. I have nobody's help, but my own. So, all my son knows is me & my husband & the random people at Walmart when we go shopping. So yes, I'd love to talk to my Mom every day... but usually the time that would be best for me, is worst for her. I highly doubt that she was up @1am- 5am this morning. Unfortunately, that wasn't even a good time for me as I was trying to get my son back to sleep! Ugh.. rambling. Sorry.

3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe?
-Sometimes I am adventurous, but mostly I follow recipes. My husband on the other hand is more experimental then I.

4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe?
- At first glance I would say no, then I look again & would say yes; then again & say No, they are the same length. Honestly, if it was longer I'd have to say BARELY!

5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?)
-If I were to dress up this Halloween (which I doubt) I'd be a naughty school girl.
But, I don't think I will this year... I have in the past; but IF I were this year it'd be the first time in MANY years! I think the last time I dressed up was when I was in 8th grade! LOL & that wasn't even much! I just wore jammies & put a binki around my neck! lol
That was a fun night! LOL too bad losers were going around stealing candy! LOL LOL LOL (my friend @the time was dumb enough to get her candy stolen).

Friday, October 15, 2010

5question Friday!

1. What is your favorite Halloween candy? I LOVE Reece's & Snickers! YUM!

2. Do you fold your socks? Depends on my mood; some days I do & others I just look at them in disgust & grab them & throw them in the drawer! LOL

3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about? Everything. Well, everything other then Motherhood; because motherhood is just about the only thing that comes naturally to me.

4. What is the most significant difference between you and your significant other? Well, for one I'm a female as he is just a male. Another one would be that he's very opinionated as I tend to see both sides to everything. He tends to voice his opinions a lot more then I am willing to.

5. What are three words you would use to describe yourself? (And, just for fun...if your significant other is around, ask him/her what 3 words they would use to describe you!!)
Strong, stubborn, caring.
Per my husband I'm: Challenging, persistent & loving.

Friday, October 8, 2010

5question Friday!

1. What do you listen to while driving? I pay attention to the road for one, and listen to music or I sing to Aj.

2. What is your least favorite thing about Fall? When it ends! I love this weather!

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out? I would love to have a beautiful 2story house on about 10 acres of land, with a basement, my husband wants a wrap around porch which I have grown fond of those too. 5bedrooms would be nice. I have a pool now, & it's just a major pain in the butt to keep clean, so I'd be fine with an above ground pool; or none would be fine too. 3bathrooms would be lovely, one in the master bedroom & one for the kid(s) & one for the guests. I like having a family room.  A garage would be lovely too; lots of trees to hide our home.. plenty of shading. I like those natural ponds too... so pretty. But, yeah that's just about the gist of it.

4. Would you ever own a minivan? I always said no in the past; but if I end up on having as many babies as I want; I'm definitely going to need something a bit bigger then my mini SUV. I'm just not too sure it would be a mini van; they now have SUV's with just as much room as a mini van does, so I don't know. When I get to that point in my life, I'll answer ya ;)

5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them? YES!!! I never used to, I was always happy to wear my new clothes; but now it's like I'm a germaphobe. I'm not quite as bad as other germaphobe's; but now I HAVE to wash my clothes before I wear them! I've even been so bad lately to where I've taken a Lysol wipe & wiped down the inside of my new shoes! LOL

I was supposed to clean the entire house today; but got side-tracked to just AJ's room. LOL
Go figure! He has so many clothes that I needed to try on him & every time I thought about it, it just seemed like a complete hassle! Well, today was finally the day where I brought him in the room & made him try on every single outfit. The pain is, just because it says 6-9 months old on it, doesn't mean it's not too small or too big. And just because it says 0-3 months old doesn't meant the same thing! Some of the outfits that I swear are too big for him, are WAY too small for him. And the outfits that I swear are way too small for him are HUGE on him. So, whether he liked it or not, we sat down in his room & tried on every SINGLE outfit! LOL
So, now I've got about two boxes full of clothes that I need to take to some sort of baby thrift store & see if I can exchange for bigger sizes. They've got some pretty nice baby thrift stores around here. I've found a lot of stuff w/the tags still attached! LOL
Aj's room is starting to come together & starting to look like a little boys room. I told James earlier today, that about the time we finally get his room the way I want it to look, is about the time that we will be moving into another place! LOL! That is unless Aj's Godfather changes his mind about flipping this house & just lets us buy it from him. Which I doubt, but hey, doesn't hurt to have hope! I love this house & property!
My birthday was Monday (Oct. 4th) & it was a good one. Last year it kind of stunk because I was pregnant & super sick! But, this was the first year since my parents moved out of state that I actually got a cake. James surprised me & came home w/a clown cake, roses & a birthday card. He made my day with just the clown cake! LOL! I was very happy with my clown cake!
I'm so looking forward to Christmas! My Dad said not to go all out because it is just Aj's first Christmas & he's not going to remember. I know that, but I also know that it's gonna be hard for me to remember that. I talked James into going & getting family pictures done.
I'm also looking forward to February! It's going to be here sooner then I know it; just because it's 5months away doesn't mean that it wont be here in the blink of an eye. So, I'm trying to start getting things situated for that. My parents both want to be here for his 1st birthday which makes sense to me. So, depending on what they both decide on, depends on if we have the party the weekend before or the weekend after.
Aj is definitely getting around; becoming more vocal & getting into MUCH more trouble! I tell him "off limits" or "you may not" & he just looks at me, smiles & sometimes laughs & goes back to doing what he was. Sometimes he even shakes his head 'No' at me & babbles something & smiles & then goes back to doing what I just told him not to do! I know the little man understands! I tell him to "let go" & he does just that. I tell him "off limits" and he stops. So, again, I KNOW he understands what Mommy is telling him. All, I know is this baby is DEFINITELY a Bailey/Munoz!
But, that's just about the gist of what's going on here in the Bailey world.

Five Question Friday!

1. Did you have a pen pal when you were little (or now)? Where were/are they from? No, I didn't/don't.

2. If you could do a different job for one day, what would it be? I don't know, a solder or a cop; something meaningful like that.

3. Do you remember your biggest fear from when you were little? Yes, it was always worrying about ticking off the big man, (My biological Father).

4. What do you think is a waste of time? Why? Sleeping all day; because by the time you wake up the day has already passed; when you could've been doing something productive.

5. What is the oldest item you have in your closet? My prom dress. LOL

One little monkey

I cannot believe how big my lil man is getting! This morning James found him standing in his crib playing with his bears on his mobile. I taught him how to stand in it! ;)
He was pretty good today, we went down to Pinellas Park for a baby shower; he seen an absolutely adorable little baby girl! He just couldn't stop staring!!!
After awhile he started getting cranky because he was hungry & it was WAY past nursing time! So, we left a bit early which I wanted to stay longer but I didn't want to bother people with a cranky baby!
We ended up going to Abe's Mugs & got me some food & AJ ate some turkey baby food I brought for him. On our way home AJ passed out & I fell asleep too.
We finally got home after a little while; and we were doing our family time. Family time is where we all hang out on the floor & play & just spend time together. Mostly, we like watching AJ & all the new things he does.
After awhile my butt started to hurt, so I got him & sat in my recliner & watched as AJ crawled (hands & knees) to the ottoman & pulled himself up to a standing position! I can't believe how big he's getting! He stood up & sat down a couple of times. He has this Pooh book that sings & talks that my Mom got for him that he absolutely loves! And he pulled himself up on the ottoman & walked along it to get to the book!
I just can't get over how one day he's born, the next he's doing a swim in the air thing, the next he's doing an army/scootin crawling thing, the next he's pulling himself up & STANDING & WALKING! :'(
I'm so proud of him! But, at the same time I'm so sad too! He's growing SO fast!
